Question: I have a 23152 DUI charge in Metro Court. I was reading about a motion for a 1538. What is that?
Answer: A 1538 Motion is a suppression motion. For instance, if there was no probable cause for the officer to pull you over, an attorney may want to file a 1538 suppression motion. If the attorney wins that motion, then generally speaking, you would beat the DUI charge. I often handle DUI charges in Metro. Feel free to call me if you would like to discuss in further detail.
