Question: Will I have to do a DUI class for a 23152 DUI conviction in los angeles. The court is on 1945 Hill street, metropolitan court. The court date is coming up in less than a month. Please advise.
Answer: If there is a DUI conviction, then doing an alcohol course will be a part of your probation terms. Additionally, you will have to complete the course (among other things) in order to get your California license back. The length of the class you have to do can vary, and may be a part of the negotiation process. There is also a chance of getting the DUI charge dismissed or reduced to a lesser offense, in which case you may not be required to do an alcohol course at all.
