Question: I have a case in downtown L.A., metropolitan court on 1945 Hill street. Will I have to get an IID (Interlock ignition device) if convicted of a 23152 DUI offense?
Answer: If there is a DUI conviction in a Los Angeles county court, even for a 1st offense DUI, there will be an IID imposed by the DMV. Although a lot of defenses and arguments cross over from DUI case to DUi case…each case has it’s differences. It may be possible to dismiss or reduce the charge. I would have to review the discovery (evidence) in further detail. Call me at 818-336-1384 (818-336-1DUI).
