Answer: Whether or not there will be an enhancement penalty on top of the DUI can depend on a few factors, the main one being, were you on a residential road (if so and going 20 or more MPH above the speed limit, then there is a potential penalty enhancement to the DUI), or if you were on a freeway if so and going 30 or more MPH above the speed limit, then there is a potential penalty enhancement to the DUI).
