Pulled over without a drivers license
Question: What happens if I was pulled over without a drivers license? I was pulled over about a week ago and I am really stressed out about it. I have a court date in Los Angeles Metro Court for misdemeanor VC 12500. I have no other criminal record, just this and I do not want it to ruin that as I am just getting going with work.
Answer: I am sorry to hear of this issue and the stress it is causing you. The good news is, I have been successful at getting these charges reduced to infractions and in most cases completely dismissed. Out of curiosity, what reason did the Officer give you for pulling you over in the first place? Are there any other charges listed on your ticket? Or just the driving without a driver license charge? I recently had a VC 12500 driving with no license charge completely dismissed, and have done so on many occasions at Metro Court. Call met at 818-336-1384 to discuss further.
