Question: How much $ is too much for an experienced DUI attorney in Los Angeles, CA? I have a DUI in Torrance, CA. I spoke to one DUI attorney who quoted me $9,000. It’s a first DUI. No accident or anything.
Answer: How much to spend on an experienced DUI attorney is a tough question to answer. I am an experienced DUI attorney, and would charge significantly less than that to handle a 1st DUI in Torrance court (as well as the DMV hearing). There is certainly work to be done in defending DUI’s, and some DUI attorneys do get paid that much and sometimes more to handle DUI’s. I realize that many people deserve quality DUI defense but can not afford such high fees, which is why I keep my expenses low, so I can keep my fees for clients low but still provide aggressive and quality defense.
