Question: IF I WAS ARRESTED FOR DUI IN ENCINO, AND BLOOD TAKEN AT A HOSPITAL CAME BACK NEGATIVE FOR ALCOHOL AND DRUGS, WHY ARE THEY TRYING TO GIVE ME A DEAL?
Answer: Assuming that all tests came back negative on alcohol and drugs, then they should dismiss the DUI charges if there is no other strong evidence they claim to be using. Are there other charges in the complaint (ie. driving without a valid license, hit and run, etc.) that they are trying to negotiate with you? Or are there no other charges, and they are negotiating to dismiss the DUI charges if you plea to a lesser charge? Feel free to contact me so we can discuss your case in a bit more detail.
Sincerely,
