Can a judge add to a DUI sentence 7 months later?

Question: Can a judge add to a DUI sentence 7 months later? I was convicted of a DUI in Inglewood, CA but the judge never mentioned anything about some of the penalties (ie. community labor and AA meetings) that I was supposed to do and it is not on my paperwork.
Answer: Generally speaking once someone is sentenced that resolves the matter. If 7 months have passed since you were sentenced then it is probably unlikely that they are going to recall the case at this point (particularly if you don’t violate your probation. You should speak to your attorney who handled the matter for you to determine what happened at sentencing. ie. if it was a probation violation matter and the original conviction was in another court, then it is possible for the other court to remand on the probation violation.
