Can I go to court to fight traffic tickets that are more than two years old?

Question: Can I go to court to fight traffic tickets that are more than two years old? They are both speeding tickets in Van Nuys Court and Chatsworth Court from 2009 and 2010.
Answer: Were you already convicted of the infraction speeding tickets? or did you ignore them and now they are in collections? If it is the latter, then you or your attorney can set it for an arraignment date. If you were already convicted and more than 2 years has passed, not much you can do. Possibility of a withdrawal of plea if that is applicable, but generally those need to be filed within 180 days of entering a plea.
