Credit for DUI house arrest

Question: I am serving time on the ankle bracelet house arrest for a dui in los angeles, ca. Is it possible for me to be released early and how? And what are my rights while on the bracelet?
Answer: You should check with the attorney how represented you on this case to discuss the possibilities of being released earlier, and what rights you have while on the bracelet. The company monitoring the bracelet (or the court itself) should also be able to inform you of the rights you have while on ankle bracelet monitoring. This includes whether you have flexibility to attend alcohol classes, work, school, etc. Also, if you are receiving “good time” credits while on the ankle monitor, and at what rate they accrue.
