DUI with Accident in Encino
Question: I was in an accident in Encino and charged with DUI. I was not at fault in the accident though as an other rear ended me. Can I be still charged with DUI in Van Nuys Court even though I was not the one who caused the accident?

Unfortunately, even though you were not the cause of the accident, you can still be charged with DUI in Van Nuys Court. If the other party was 100% at fault though, that can be a defense to your case. For example, there was no bad driving witnessed by anyone (a sign that is generally associated that is actually driving under the influence).
