Is this probable cause to pull me over for DUI in Burbank, CA?

Question: Can youexplain to me if those are sufficient grounds for pulling me over and charge me with DUI in Burbank, CA?
1) “Failure to drive vehicle on right half of roadway when required” (means when police siren sounded)
2) “Driver changing lanes when unsafe”. I don’t know where the police officer observed that violation.
Answer: As for your number 1)….I am a bit unclear, but were you driving on the wrong side of the road? or perhaps in a lane that required you to turn (and you went straight?). Number 2) unsafe lane change is a vehicle code violation…whether the change was unsafe can be subjective. Although an officer can pull a car over specifically for DUI, an officer can also stop someone for a generic vehicle code violation, then determine that there are grounds for a DUI investigation once they start talking to the licensee.
