Question: Does the Court DUI case (Van Nuys CA) over ride the DMV issue (also Van Nuys) or do I have to do something to save my California Drivers License.

Answer: You or your attorney still needs to request and have a DMV hearing within 10 days of your arrest. If you don’t, the DMV can take action against your license separate and apart from the criminal court case. That being said, it is possible to get a DMV set aside and get the DUI charges dismissed or reduced in which case there would not be any license suspension.
