Question: I was pulled over and cited for a 23109 exhibition of speed by a cop in studio city. I have a court date coming up in van nuys court, but was told that I am now being charged with a 23152 DUI. Is that possible.

Answer: It is possible to be charged with a DUI, even if the arresting officer did not put the 23152 charge on your original citation. Did you have any drinks at all? Did the officer perform Field sobriety tests (FST’s) or have you do a breath test or blood test? Call me to discuss.
