Question: Is Los Angeles tough on DUI’s? I just moved here and was recently arrested for a DUI in Los Angeles, but was released from jail about 12 hours later. I know have a court date at Metropolitan Court in Los Angeles. How much extra jail time do you think I’ll serve?

Answer: To answer your first question, yes, Los Angeles is tough on DUI’s, and continues to get tougher. Would this be a first offense DUI? or do you have prior DUI’s (from Los Angeles, California, or any other state?) I would like to talk to you more about your case to find out more details, so I can give you a more accurate assessment. Keep in mind that depending on your case, I may be able to get the DUI charges dismissed or reduced, but I would really need to know more about the details of your situation. Call me at 818-336-1384 at your convenience. Note that you only have 10 days from your arrest date to request a DMV hearing, or else your drivers license may be automatically suspended 30 days after your arrest date.

  1. DUI issue

It seems like a DUI is tough to fight? I was definitely drunk and shouldn’t have been driving. How would you be able to defend that? My case is also Metropolitan Court downtown los angeles.
