Question: What is the punishment if I get pulled over going to school in Los Angeles while driving on a restricted license?

Answer: If pulled over, you would likely be charged with a “driving on a suspended license charge.” Also, you may get dinged with a probation violation as well. Essentially, you could be looking at penalties including potential jail time and hefty fines. You could potentially argue that school is your work, but this would not guarantee a dismissal of charges. Personally, I would recommend not taking the chance and saving yourself the potential of having to deal with these issues. It may be time to consider Metro transportation, or potentially leasing an apartment near your campus.
