Rapper 50 Cent pleads Not guilty to Domestic Violence and Vandalism charges

On August 5, 2013, rapper 50 Cent entered a Not Guilty plea to a Domestic Violence charge in Van Nuys Court.  The charges stem from an alleged argument between he and his ex-girlfriend who is also the mother of his child.  The allegations state that he kicked his ex-girlfriend during an argument and destroyed property owned by her.   If convicted, he is looking at potential substantial jail time and hefty fines.  It will be interesting to see how this plays out in court.  In my opinion, probably unlikely it will go to trial, as often these matters are resolved during pre-trial.
