Question: What degree of DUI takes away your driving privilege for life? I have a 3rd DUI. IF I get convicted of a 3rd DUI in Van Nuys, CA, will I lose my California drivers license for life?
Answer: Are you referring to a commercial drivers license, or a class c license? There are different answers depending on the type of license. Also, do you have any felony dui convictions? If your first two dui’s were misdemeanors, and your current dui is a misdemeanor, a 3rd dui conviction will give a lengthy license suspension, but not a permanent revocation on a class c license.
